We are currently operating business as usual and adhering to both the State and Federal Government’s guidelines to ensure your Health & Safety is not compromised whilst attending any of our training courses.

In that regard we have provided the following information and advice for your assistance.

Social distancing Guidelines (small class sizes. 4-6 Students MAX per class)
Our class size numbers are restricted to ensure that there is no more than one person per
four square metres of floor space and each student has physical distancing from
another student or staff member.

All staff members are fully aware of the Social Distancing Guidelines and will ensure all students adhere to the requirements where practical at all times.

Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, we need to do our bit to ensure the health & safety of our team, students and the wider community.
We are currently operating as ‘business as usual’ but we are taking extra steps to help stop the spread of the virus.

If you have recently traveled Internationally:
Students who have traveled internationally recently (Any Country) must not attend any course until 14 days after their arrival in Australia.

If you are unwell and showing symptoms:
Please do not attend your course if you have any the following symptoms:
  • fever or feeling feverish/chills.
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • runny or stuffy nose
  • muscle or body aches
  • headaches
  • fatigue

In order for us to help minimise any potential risk to staff, students and our community, if you are showing any of the above symptoms and cannot provide a ‘medical clearance’ by a registered GP, you will be asked to leave the course.  This is for everyones safety including yourself.

If you have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case:
Students who have had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case will not be allowed to continue with the course and be sent home.

Changes to cancellation policy (during the COVID-19 Pandemic):
Students who are unable to attend their course due to the above reasons and notify Trainix Admin (by phone or email) prior to their course date, can re-schedule to a later date free of charge.  Students who do not attend their course and fail to notify Trainix Admin (by phone or email) prior to their course, will not be able to re-schedule for free.

Our training courses run at a maximum of 4-6 students per course and are a mixture of classroom based and practical learning. There will be some interaction with other people, but not in large group sizes.  We are cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting any shared space (tables, toilets, desks etc.) regularly, but we also need your help.

Hand Sanitiser:
We are trying are hardest to have hand sanitiser available for all students and staff but, as most people would be aware, hand sanitiser supplies are extremely low and while we have placed orders with multiple suppliers, we do not have a confirmed ETA as of 15th March 2020.  

Please try to bring the following to your course:

  • Your own pen to avoid sharing our pens with others
  • Your own coffee mug/keep-cup
  • Your own hand sanitiser
  • Your own utensils if you bring lunch – we will not have any available
  • Your own water bottle (we have filtered water in all classrooms)
  • Latex/Work gloves if you have them
  • Your own Hi-Vis, if you have it (vests can be cheap to buy from places like
    K-Mart)

When at the course, please do the following:

  • Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds, especially before and after
    using the practical equipment, using shared spaces and using the bathroom
  • Cough into your elbow or a tissue and dispose of it afterwards
  • Avoid hand-shakes – we do elbow high 5’s now
