Since we’ve opened, we have had nothing but continuous positive feedback for every aspect of the order picker training we have provided. Our trainers are committed to making sure you’re getting the right training and spending time with everyone in the group to get the best results for each student.

If there’s anything you need help with either in the theory or practical component, we’ll make sure you get the extra help that you need. The trainers are patient and are more than willing to spend the extra time with you if there are things that you’re unsure of.

Current, up-to-date order picker training and facilities

Being current and up-to-date with order picker training methods, materials, and facilities are important, and we are always reviewing what we do to ensure this is happening. If there are any changes to regulations, safety, and training, we’ll be on top of it. The order picker training centre is modern, clean and fresh with a relaxed atmosphere.

The trainers are friendly, patient and personable. The equipment is kept up to date with industry standard are in excellent condition all the time.

Zero re-test fees

You’ll need to pass 3 assessments successfully before you gain an order picker licence: Knowledge, Calculations & Practical assessments. We’re confident that with the training methods we use, you should gain a good understanding of the information required for you to pass the assessments but we understand that can be difficult sometimes.

Because of that, we offer all of our students in a 2-day order picker licence course the option of a free re-test for any part of the assessment that you didn’t pass. This means you can attend the order picker licence course, stress-free because there is no extra cost if you need to try the assessment again another time.

The Western Suburbs of Melbourne is thriving with new housing and industrial estates. We’re located smack bang in the middle of it all! Close to Werribee, Tarneit, Point Cook, Derrimut, Williams Landing and Altona our order picker licence training centre is located in Hoppers Crossing. Easy to find, just off the Princes Freeway.

Public transport is no issue either with Williams Landing and Hoppers Crossing train stations close by. Buses from either train station can drop you off right at the end of our street at Graham Court. Shops and cafés are not far away either with plenty of options ranging from Indian cuisine to burgers and kebabs!

When you book with us, you are booking with an experienced company with trainers that have had years of experience working in warehouses picking stock at all different heights on the order picker, trainers that have been safety representatives and store-men. This helps our students to prepare for the workplace because our trainers understand what it’s like out there.

This sets us apart from our competitors with trainers that have not worked in the industry for a long time or even at all. This has been reflective of the feedback that we have received too which has been that our trainer’s knowledge is of a very high standard.

We train you to become job-ready

Gaining an order picker licence is only the first step when it comes to working in the industry. To be able to operate safely and competently in the workplace is another aspect altogether. With our trainer’s experience in the industry working as order picker operators, they know where you’re headed and can get you in a position to be ready for the workplace.

Although we train you to get an order picker licence, we’ll get you ready for work as well. Whatever questions you may have about what to expect when working as an order picker, our trainer’s will be able to answer you and help you understand some of the challenges you may face when working as an order picker in the workplace.

Vibrant and positive learning space

The Wyndham Training Collective is a vibrant place where it’s not uncommon to have multiple courses running at the same time in 1 of our 3 classrooms. We provide coffee, tea, biscuits, filtered water, fridge, and microwaves on-site so you can bring a lunch with you. 

From the moment you first step into the reception area, decorated with handmade up-cycled furniture built from old pallets to the large warehouse space where the forklifts, order pickers, boom, and scissor lifts all operate, we have made a huge effort for the whole place to be a positive, professional, clean, modern and friendly environment.

It’s important to us that our students are comfortable when learning because we believe that’s the right way to get the best results. No one wants to be part of a course where they are made to feel stressed. We feel that this part of why so many of our students keep coming back for different training courses!
